After leaving your things in the hotel, go to Brooklyn to walk through Bushwick, an area arrives from Street Art. In the evening, go to the Staten Island Ferry, to take the free ferry that passes relatively close to the Statue of Liberty.
Start the day at the High Line, a park built on railway rails. Then, meet the Chelsea Market and go to Madison Square for lunch at Shake Shack (the most famous burgers in New York). In the afternoon, walk through Greenwich Village and if you want a cheap bar, enter the Cubbyhole Bar (gay bar): during Happy Hour the beers are very cheap compared to other bars in New York. In the evening, stroll through Soho and Tribeca.
Go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (it opens at 10am and the visit lasts about 3 hours). When you’re done, take a walk or rest in the southern area of Central Park. Walk down 5th Avenue to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. Keep walking until you reach 230 Fifth, a bar with an amazing view of the Empire State Building (only open Thursday through Sunday). In the night, go to Time Square.
Now it’s time to get to know the northern part of Central Park until you get to the Natural History Museum. The visit to the museum lasts about 5 hours. When you’re done, go to the Brooklyn Bridge. Try to arrive before sunset, so you can see how the colors change. When you get to Brooklyn, go to Brooklyn Heights to see the best skyline in Manhattan.
Your last day got to Coney Island to see a “different” area of New York. If you go in summer, you will be able to enter the amusement park. If you go in winter, the park is closed, but you can take a walk along the promenade.

For more than 5 days in New York, it’s worth buying the Metro Card. It costs 32 $ and you can buy it in the machines that are in the metro stations.
There are two types of metro lines: local and express. Locals stop at each station, while express stops at fewer stations. When you go to take the subway in New York, you have to pay attention to that detail. And you can always ask the people who are there: in general, they are very friendly and are always willing to help.
